Michael Mizrahi is a Venture Partner at Wavemaker Partners, a dual headquartered (LA and Singapore) early-stage venture fund focused on Enterprise and Deep Tech ventures. He also works with various start-ups in Los Angeles helping them with corporate strategy, business development and operational functions. He is deeply ingrained in the Los Angeles and Silicon Valley tech communities, leveraging his network to secure new opportunities for himself, his company and his client’s. He was previously VP of Business Development, for CARMA Group (DBA easyCARMA), an online car buying service.
Michael has over eleven years of experience in the digital media industry, working in various roles for specialized investment banking firms, venture capital groups, and private startups. During his time in investment banking and venture capital world, Michael worked directly on transactions totalling nearly $1 billion, including TVGuide’s sale to CBS, TapIt!’s sale to Phunware, Mogreet’s sale to MobileMessenger, and Smartclip’s sale to Adconion.
Michael was born and raised in Los Angeles. He attended USC’s Marshall School of Business, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and earned a certificate in Video Game Production. Michael was a General Security Representative licensed with FINRA/SIPC (formerly NASD).
