Bentz to Touch on Fundraising, Investment Thesis, Current Investment Climate and Trends

Palo Alto, CA – May 19, 2022 – Early Growth, a leading Essential Business Services (EBS) provider, announced today the speaker for its June Meet the VC panel event to be held at 12 p.m. PT on Thursday, June 9, 2022. The featured guest speaker will be Brad Bentz, partner and co-founder of ATX Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in B2B software, APIs, frontier tech, marketplaces and applications.

Meet the VC is a monthly panel event hosted by Early Growth and its partners. Every month, a prominent venture capitalist discusses their firm’s investment thesis, trends they’re seeing in the current investment climate, and more. It is held in an interview format hosted by Early Growth, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.

At ATX Ventures, Bentz helps manage the operations of the firm while leading a portfolio of B2B early-stage technology investments. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1990 and earned an MBA with a focus in entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas, in 2005. He spent 10 years as a field archaeologist working on research projects in Pakistan, Syria, Bulgaria and the United States before establishing a second career as a software developer and team lead. After business school, Bentz joined a boutique private equity firm and participated in over a dozen transactions involving more than $72 million in equity capital. More recently, he worked at IDC and Boston Consulting Group before joining the investment team at ATX Venture Partners.
